  • I have participated in the Teaching American History Grant for the last 7 years, The last 3 years I have served as a “History Master Teacher” helping to facilitate groups and develop instructional projects for classroom use.

    Currently working on a documentary pertaining to desegregation of Montgomery County Schools in the 1960’s.

Professional Organizations:

  • VEA, NEA, MCEA

Publications, Conferences, Workshops, Research:

  • Presented a project at an Adult Education conference as part of thesis.

    Teaching American History Grant –attended numerous lectures and field trips to such places as Richmond, Williamsburg, D.C.,  Philadelphia.

Hobbies and Outside Interests:

Enjoy living out in the country and in our 100+ years old home. Very proud mother of 2 nearly grown daughters – Senior in high school and a Senior in college.

Errand girl for husband’s excavating business.

Involved in church activities.

Interested in local history.
