Blue Demon Wrestlers Win Fourth Straight AA Championship - Six Individual Championships Produced

The Christiansburg Blue Demon Wrestling team won their fourth consecutive Group AA state title while six wrestlers won individual state championships. Junior Matt Epperly (145) won his third individual title, while Sophomore Cody Gardner (215) won his second. First time individual state champions included Seniors Brian West (171) and Nick Buck (189), Junior Andrew Hoffer (160) and Sophomore Andrew Pilla (119). Sophomre Time Miles (125), Junior Jantzen Minton (152), and Senior Matt Stump (152) all placed third. Freshman Sam Rakes (140) and Senior Stuart Vyule (275) place fourth. Sophomores D.J. Weightman (103) and Bryan Hartman (112) placed sixth. Congratulations to all!!
