Parents Night for 10th grade drivers'
education
Dec. 8 at 7:00 p.m.
The presentation takes 1.5 hours and covers the process of
obtaining a
driver's license and the important role of parents in coaching and
monitoring their child's driving. Some of the video content is graphic
and may not be appropriate for young children. The keynote speaker for
each evening is the Hon. Judge Marcus Long. Other participants include
the School Resource Officer, a local insurance agent, and researchers
from Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Driver's ed teachers are
coordinating the events.
